| Project Description | The wastewater in this project mainly originates from non-contact cooling water used in active injection tests and spray cooling wastewater from ignition tests. The wastewater is light yellow in color, slightly turbid, acidic, and has a pungent odor. The pollutants are relatively complex, including organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, and heavy metal ions such as nickel, iron, zinc, cadmium, chromium, manganese, lead, and silver. After treatment with MOTIVA Catalytic Self-Electrolysis Technology, the effluent COD quality is ≤ 60 mg/L, meeting the effluent requirements for color and pH as specified in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB 8978-1996, Class I) and odor requirements in the Standard for Urban Reclaimed Water – Water Quality for Municipal Miscellaneous Use (GB/T 18920-2020). |
