Medical wastewater from aesthetic hospitals contains a large number of pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites. These have characteristics such as airborne transmission, acute infectiousness, and latent infection, posing significant health risks.
Effectively treating such wastewater is crucial for environmental protection and public health. According to GB18466-2005 “Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Medical Institutions,” this type of wastewater must be properly treated before discharge.
This project was implemented for an aesthetic hospital in Anhui, using MOTIVA’s PP integrated sewage treatment system with a treatment capacity of 10 m³/day.

The main treatment process includes:
- Pretreatment Stage: Medical wastewater is first filtered through a grit chamber and screen to remove solids. The water is then adjusted to ensure proper pH and temperature for subsequent treatment.
- Biochemical Treatment Stage: The pretreated wastewater enters a biological treatment system where microorganisms degrade organic matter through aerobic and anaerobic reactions.
- Advanced Treatment Stage: This step targets residual microbes, pharmaceutical compounds, and heavy metals using techniques such as activated carbon adsorption and advanced oxidation.
- Final Treatment Stage: The treated water is disinfected using UV radiation or ozone to eliminate remaining pathogens.
Through these stages, harmful substances are effectively removed, and the final effluent meets national discharge standards. This process ensures environmental safety and public health, while offering a reliable technical solution for wastewater reuse.
Features of PP Integrated Sewage Treatment Equipment

MOTIVA’s PP integrated system is compact, efficient, and adaptable. Its key features include:
- Compact Structure with Small Footprint: Integrated design is ideal for space-constrained urban areas.
- Easy Installation and Low Maintenance: Modular design simplifies setup and reduces operational costs.
- Stable Performance and High Effluent Quality: Durable PP material resists corrosion and ensures compliance with discharge standards.
- Wide Application Range: Suitable for both domestic and industrial wastewater treatment.

If you’re considering purchasing a PP integrated sewage treatment unit, MOTIVA offers reliable, self-developed systems tailored to your specific needs. The price of such equipment is influenced by multiple factors, including brand, material, treatment capacity, required effluent quality, and current market conditions. For example, using corrosion- and oxidation-resistant materials enhances durability but also increases cost. Similarly, systems with larger treatment volumes or higher discharge standards generally require more advanced configurations and a higher investment.
