What is Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)?

ZLD means that wastewater generated in the production process is treated for complete internal recycling, with no liquid discharge from the factory. Salts in the water are concentrated, evaporated, and crystallized into solids for offsite disposal or reuse as raw materials.
