Project DescriptionDatong New Energy Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in graphite production, purification, and processing. The acidic wastewater mainly originates from acid leaching and primary/secondary acidic washing water during graphite purification. The wastewater generation is 105 m³/day, containing HF, HCl, HNO₃, etc. The original treatment involved direct neutralization with lime or alkali, producing large amounts of sludge and failing to meet total dissolved solids (TDS) standards. After implementing ZQQD’s ultra-low temperature mixed-acid evaporation and recovery process, the acid leachate and primary/secondary acidic wash water are collected separately. The mixed acid is recovered at 87.5% for reuse in production, reducing acid procurement and significantly lowering acid content in the wastewater. Using ZQQD’s comprehensive acidic wastewater treatment process, the treated effluent maintains TDS ≤1,600 mg/L, meeting discharge standards. Meanwhile, the required neutralizing chemicals are greatly reduced, lowering treatment costs per cubic meter and generating significant savings for the enterprise.
